A gold rush is the term used to describe an era of intense migration of workers to an area that has had a dramatic discovery of gold deposits. The young married couple Cooper carried away by the information that they receive everyday about the golden rush that has ruled the world, decide to go searching for gold. Since they are quite young they feel like they need more money to start a good life and following the golden rush should afford them that kind of life faster.
